After the war Earnest T. headed west. He had nothing but a broken down plow horse. He got as far as Fort Smith but got hooked on the bottle, now he just does whatever work he can get. He met Miss Sally and got married, but she stays out in the territory.

I was born in Fort Smith to a local rancher. I am the widow of rancher Cole Jackson who taught me to shoot. I run my ranch, teach school and hunt to feed my beautiful little girl Laura.
